1. Manages and supervises the functional & administrative duties & responsibilities of the Accounts department
2. Ensures compliance to accounting policies & procedures
3. On time preparation and reporting of periodic & year-end Financial Statements
4. Preparation of budgets in close liaison with the Management
5. Review and control of approved budgets
6. Management Reporting (MIS)
7. Asset, cash, accounts receivable management
8. Co-ordination with Dept. heads and senior management
9. Maintains involvement in each aspect where the intervention of finance is needed
10. Maintains banking relationship (Bank Facilities, Guarantees, POS transactions, etc…)
11. Co-ordination with auditors and making sure to achieve proper and on time reporting of reviewed and audited financials.
12. Compliance to legal requirements (e.g. Commercial Registrations, Civil Aviation, License, etc…)
13. Maintains good relationship with customers, suppliers and other business partners and ensures all issues are being attended properly
14. Monitor airline and supplier’s incentive, fixed assets, prepayments
15. Responsible for BSP reconciliation and timely process
16. Monitors BSP/IATA correspondences and required reports, credit card reconciliation
17. Monitors general invoicing, credit limits of customers, refunds, delivery of invoices timely, ADM, petty cash custodian
REQUIREMENTS:
Years of experience required: Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in a reputed IATA travel agency / airline/ Travel Management company
Education:
(Minimum requirement’s): University graduate in accounting & finance business discipline MBA finance / M-COM will be an advantage ACCA/ICMA qualified would be preferred. Recognized travel qualification- IATA /UFTAA CRS - Computer Reservations Systems (Amadeus-, Galileo-, Sabre-)
