Job Description
  • Review all invoices and payment requests for appropriate documentation and approval.
  • Entry of invoices and payments in SAP after 3 way matching.
  • Ensure appropriate tax treatment to vendor based on applicable tax laws and exemptions.
  • Prioritize invoices according to payment terms.
  • Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
  • Coordinate with procurement department and banks for import related payments
  • Record, track and adjust advances.
  • Respond to queries of internal and external customers.
  • Reconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies.
  • Assist in month end closing by recording of monthly accruals.
  • Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices.
  • Provide relevant information and schedules to auditors.
  • Work to continuously improve the payment processes of LUMS.

Work Schedule:

Business hours sometime extend into the evenings and weekends to accommodate the needs of current workloads and event schedules.
